Administrative Closure of Deportation Proceedings

A client of the Law Office of Michael P. Gianelli, LLC, had his removal case administratively closed.  Administrative closure means that the case is closed and that the Department of Homeland Security is not presently seeking deportation.  It is a form of prosecutorial discretion advocated by the Obama administration.
