Immigration Reform 2013 – New Immigration Law

One of the last significant obstacles (this problem tripped up immigration reform in 2013) to comprehensive immigration reform is close to being overcome.  Business and labor groups are close to an agreement on a guest worker program for low-skilled workers.

Business groups are looking for an adequate number of temporary guest worker visas, and the labor groups are concerned about setting proper wages so as to not adversely affect the labor market.
